About

After some extensive internet researching, it seems that having an 'About' page makes blogs more accessible to an audience. Well audience, here you go. Teenage Fanatic now officially has it's own about page!

So as you've probably gathered by now, I'm Annabel. I'm 16, I'm from Australia, and I'm just a little bit insane. I got into this whole blogging thing because a) I was bored and b) I thought it would be kinda cool. Which after several months of officially being a 'blogger', I can say it most certainly is. I actually don't know how I've managed to keep it up so long, I have to say I'm pretty proud of myself.

I just assumed it was going to be one of those things that you think about but never get around to, but somehow what started out as this:

Became this:

And that's pretty much the story of how 'Teenage Fanatic' was born.

My (super short) Story

As I've said before, I'm 15, so my life hasn't really been all that jam packed so far. I've just done the usual stuff: go to school, eat, sleep, you know the drill. If you've read some of the posts on this blog, you'll know that I'm obsessed with musical theatre. Who knows, you guys could be reading the blog of a future Broadway star (isn't it great that I'm keeping my goals realistic?). One of the first things that people find out about me is my truly scary fixation with 'Glee'. Why you may ask? Why am I so hung up on this musical television show?

That is all, case closed.

I also just love watching all television shows in general. It probably all stems down to the fact that I'm majorly ambitious in the arts and am jealous of every actor ever, or perhaps I may just have something in common with your run of the mill teenager.

Who are we kidding? Of course I don't, I'm as weird as it gets.

But yeah, I'm a bit obsessed with the magical world of television to say the least. Feast your eyes upon my condensed list of favourites:
- GLEE (obviously number one)
- Pretty Little Liars
- Gossip Girl (RIP)
- Buffy The Vampire Slayer (also RIP)
- Smash (another one bites the dust)
- New Girl
- The Carrie Diaries
- Revenge

So yeah, this is pretty much where I'm at every day of my life:

Don't judge me.

I also sort of have an aversion to anything vaguely related to exercise. I do dancing, but that's about it. Occasionally, I'll do the normal girl thing and go on a weird health kick, which normally begins and ends with:

So then you're like cool, I'm gonna just diet or something, then I won't have to exercise. But then, the second you say:

You get all:

Life is hard.

To make it a little easier, I now have blogging as a new interest (obsession). You hear about all these other people going to all these rager parties or whatever, and then there's me all like:

I think blogging's where it's at. You can be all cool and wordy, and post about random things that nobody cares about, yet somehow people still read it. It's sorcery! Sometimes I get really weirdly enthusiastic about it and annoy everyone around me. I get into this mood where I'm all:

But then the realists come in and are like:

And then I'm all:

Substitute the alcohol with some fancy orange and mango juice and you've got yourself a pretty accurate representation of my life.

So that's pretty much all you have to know about me and my blogging life. Here comes the fun part though. With this whole blog makeover thing, I've created some social media pages. So feel free (aka, do it now) to like Teenage Fanatic on Facebook and follow it on twitter and instagram.

Seriously, if you do it I'll love you forever.

That's it, go and have a great time browsing!
